Did you happen to see me on Indy Style yesterday morning?! I always love being on Indy Style and it was so fun doing veggie tray races with the hosts! And because I love all my followers so much, I’m putting all the information/pictures from my segments right here on the blog!!

The holiday season is in full force and to celebrate I made a variation of holiday fruit and veggie trays!

Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish celebration. Each night at sundown, another flame is lit on the Menorah. Here’s what I made:

Tonight the last flame, egh I mean radish, will be lit.

What I used: Radishes for the flames, green asparagus for the candle sticks and baby carrots and sugar snap peas as the base.

Feel free to get a little creative and use any fruit or veggie you desire. Here’s some additional ideas:

ORANGE= Carrots, Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Roasted Squash, Oranges, Cantaloupe, Apricot, Papaya, etc.
GREEN= Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Asparagus, Snap Peas, Honeydew, Kiwi, Grapes, Apples
RED= Radishes, Apples, Grapes, Strawberries, Tomatos, Raspberries

I also made the Star of David using Pineapple and Blackberries.

Again, feel free to use any fruit or veggie you want. Have fun with it!

YELLOW= Pineapple, Banana, Mango, Yellow Watermelon, Golden Kiwi
BLUE= Blackberries, Blueberries, Plums

So, “Chag Sameach”! Have a Happy Hanukkah!

Now on to my Nature Fresh Farms tree! Nature Fresh Farms is one of the largest independent greenhouse produce grower in North America. Their produce is always so colorful and has consistent taste. I really brightened up the station with all the colors and it smelled great!

Look at that colorful and tasty looking tree!

I used sliced green bell peppers as the tree, a cucumber as the trunk and decorated with cocktail tomatoes and bell pepper garland.

Don’t want to use bell peppers? Try cucumbers or look back at the GREEN produce ideas on the Menorah! Like I always say, try them all and find your favorite!

I’m always bringing the veggie trays to Indy Style. This time I decided to duke it out with the hosts with a veggie tray race…

Stay tuned! I have more fruit and veggie holiday trays coming your way. PLUS some tips on keeping your fresh produce fresh and your family safe during the festivities.

xoxo
