I love turnips!
You don’t hear that very often, huh? It’s not that people dislike turnips… it’s that most people have never had one! That’s silly because this root veggie not only tastes great, but it’s full of guilt-free nutrition too!
1 cup of turnips has LESS than 60 calories & only 1 gram of fat. Plus, you’re talking just 2g of natural sugar, 8g of carbohydrates, 5g of dietary fiber & 5g of protein! Turnips are also full of vitamins & minerals – notably, Vitamins A, C & K. And let’s not forget the fact that they are ALWAYS very affordable. Eat more turnips. Have more money for shoes.
