Serving Up Our business As A Force For Good

The Produce Moms® is B Corp Certified

This means we have met the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. In other words: we’re committed to being a business that is a force for good.

Fresh Produce is the ultimate choice in food: it is delicious, nutritious, convenient, and affordable. Our goal is to provide you with all the tools necessary to eat more fresh produce in volume and variety.

The Produce Moms is not a blog or an influencer. We’re a community that’s committed to getting more fruits and vegetables on every table. We leverage the network and resources we have–our passion, our platform, and our partners–to get more fresh produce into our daily lives.

We are glad you’re here!

Creating A Community Of Produce Moms®

The Produce Moms® is on a mission to put more fruits and vegetables on every table to change the way America eats. Through our platforms and produce supplier partnerships, we educate consumers on the benefits of eating fresh produce, the growing process, and how to select, store and serve it. The Produce Moms® was founded by Lori Taylor whose experience as a mom and produce supply chain professional helped her to identify innovative ways to inspire consumers to eat more fresh fruits and veggies.

We Educate All Produce Moms on How to:

  1. Select, store, and serve fresh fruits and vegetables
  2. Gain an increased awareness of brands and varieties in the produce department
  3. Learn the facts about farming
  4. Gain knowledge and understanding of the fresh produce supply chain

We also talk with school officials and lawmakers to support public policy to increase the availability of fresh produce in USDA school meals and other child nutrition programs.

Why B-Corp?

We have always felt like our work at The Produce Moms is special and meaningful, but now as a Certified B Corporation, this confidence in our work is not just an opinion or self-reflection! B Corp certification measures a business’ entire social and environmental impact. Candidates participate in a rigorous assessment in five categories: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

The Produce Moms scored the highest points in the Community category. And we qualified for the Designed to Give Impact Business Model.

We made a legal commitment by changing our business governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders. You, along with every member of our audience community, are a primary stakeholder at The Produce Moms. We’ve also committed to donating the equivalent of 5% of revenues or more to charitable partners each year, including in-kind service or product donations.

B Corp Certification is holistic, not exclusively focused on a single social or environmental issue. The process is rigorous. Our founder Lori worked on this certification for over 15 months and the effort remains alive in our daily work. We believe business is a force for good. The Produce Moms focus is to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

Our journey and impact is only beginning. We are so thankful that you are part of it!
